Inarticulate Scream

I hate being sick.
I hate being sick.
I HATE being sick.

God, why, why, why?

It sounds like you need to give your immune system a boost, because I recall you being sick not so long ago.

I hope you feel better soon!

Chana, you are eating well,at least based on your shabbos meals pics. Here is a list of foods that may boost your immune system, :

papaya, stawberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, orange, grapefruit, and pineapple for vitamin C

Seeds, vegetable oils, and whole grains for vitamin E

Beef, turkey (dark meat), and beans for zinc

Sweet potatoes, carrots, kale, spinach, turnip greens, winter squash, collard greens, cilantro and fresh thyme for carotenoids

Citrus fruits, red and blue berries and grapes (esp. black grapes), onions, garlic and buckwheat for bioflavonoids

Cereals, nuts (esp. ALMONDS,PISTACHIO AND WALNUTS)), legumes, beef, and tuna for selenium

Fish (esp. tuna), flaxseeds, walnuts, beans, winter squash, and olive oil for omega-3 fatty acids

In addition, a few foods contain a good balance of nutrients to boost the immune system in and of themselves. These include:

Garlic
Tuna
Pineapple
Yogurt
Lean Beef
Mushrooms
Green, Black and White Tea

TO YOUR HEALTH!

Refuah Shelayma. I hope you are getting decent sleep - because that can also contribute to being physically "run-down" and susceptible to contracting something. I was once on a very little sleep schedule and after a few weeks became very sick - to which my doctor replied that my body had "rebelled" against me for not letting it rest enough, thereby forcing me to do so. So take it easy and rest up!

Oy vey! You're sick again? Time to go see the doctor perhaps?

Refuah Shelayma!

But like Shades of Grey suggested--are you sleeping? By that, I mean sleeping adequate amounts?

In the past when I've pushed myself beyond my limits, I found myself to be more susceptible to being sick.
