Happymaking break-fast food! (My portion, anyway.) And as you can see there were two extra blintzes so that ruined the prettiness effect, but ah well... Other people are making various meals for themselves- lasagna, tomato sauce and pasta, soup, etc.

That looks lovely and delicious! Are you sharing said food with others or is that aaaaall for you?
Actually, looking bac at the salad, it looks like you'e using iceberg. What a shame, could be so much more satisfying with a greener lettuce or fresh spinach..
I'm a bagels and cream cheese kinda guy after a fast.
Nothing, lulei demistafina, to heavy for me, thanks (except blogs!)
Chana,hope you enjoyed!
Your love for vibrant colors certainly got extended to the choice of fruits and berries in the salad. A captivating eye candy indeed!
Please use a rectangle baking dish for the souffle in the future.
Hatzair Shlomo makes a nice point: romaine, baby spinach, red and green leafy lettuce are more nutritious choices, alas they take a lot longer to be checked for insects.
The Orthdox Union allows for the checking of "samples" in most situations, in other words, maybe 5 out of 100.. ..kashrut should not refrain people froM EATing proper lettuce. It says in the Talmud "danger is more severe than a prohibition”. It also says that "G-d brings to judgment those who do not partake of the good of this world for religious reasons" (loosely paraphrased obviously).
It *is* proper lettuce, people. I bought a whole lettuce and peeled leaf after leaf and washed it- it's not iceberg.
HaTzair,
I would think by now you would have gotten the hint.
"..by now you would have gotten the hint"- Huh? ..guess I didn't then..
I stand corrected.
Looks great!
I actually prefer iceberg lettuce. It's very refreshing in a salad.
Chana, I tagged you here.
