Mirror

I'm a thousand different things to a thousand different people.
I think we all know one another on different levels. And we can only know people as well as they'll let us know them. And we know people in terms of what we ourselves bring to the relationship, the lens through which we view them. It's not that people are pretending. I don't try to be a thousand different things.
It's that we have different things to offer to different people and different functions to fulfill.
Hence it seems like I'm a thousand different things. But I'm really one person.
It's not me that's splintered into pieces. It's the mirror that's shattered.

I find that I'm both. I'm always struggling with myself and others. I'm dynamic, so are my friends, and so the relationship between the two are constantly changing. Like two celestial objects that are attracted to one another, but constantly changing mass.

If you're not changing, you're not growing. And if you're not different than others, you will never make a difference. Shake of the status quo for goodness.

i agree with you, and it is good thing because we could express ourselves to certain people that we couldn't do others, it does makes me feel good or i'll go insane. It is like the personality could be bottle up or exploded in certain people so u can't stay that way and everybody is different so certain things you can't expressed to different people or you lose your "relationship" with that person and the list goes on...
