I remember having to compare the Fixer and the Trial in high school. The former though I found to be a rather disturbing book for the sheltered high school student that I was.
I'd rather discuss why schools censor books. I did read The Fixer in yeshiva HS, but our teacher told us it was banned at other schools. I know Templars bans To Kill A Mockingbird.
